Nirvana, yeah... they have a bunch of singles on the radio that you've heard a million times. However, they released a b-sides record filled with out takes, rarities, bbc sessions, etc. I always liked this album more than "Nevermind" or "In Utero" or "Bleach" and until recently I didn't know why it clicked until I recently saw "About A Son" the movie that was just still shots and video of Seattle while an interview played. Kurt said he wanted to write sappy pop songs, but with the heaviness of black sabbath. Actually, I think his reference was he wanted to mix The Beatles w/ Black Sabbath. So anyways, this album, I think really captures the sound he was hoping to achieve as opposed to making radio hits and the forced hit writing demands from the record label. This album catches a unique, genuine sound of a band that changed music for a while. So yeah, enough reminiscing. This album is definitely awesome, not a bad track. The 2nd half of the record is really killer. Enjoy!
