Holy fucking death doom greatness! If you're into Old School Death Metal and Classic Doom elements, then you're gonna shit! This an awesome debut record from Skeletal Spectre. They take doom's riffs and at a death metal tweak. Awesome vocals for this kind of music. Plus the cover art alone should make you somewhat curious.

Awesome band that features members of Hooded Menace and Decrepitaph! So you know it's gotta be good and heavy. It's a throwback to swedish death metal of the 90's. It's basically two of their demos compiled on one cd so don't exprect the greatest production value. However, Patrick Bruss of Crypticus stepped in to give it a propper mastering. So it helps a bit. This is an awesome jam none the less if you're into old scool sweedish death metal (and who isn't).

So it's only a 2-song 7", but this ep brings the dark/scary riffs you're use to hearing from Acid Witch. So if you're into creepy organs, ghouls, monsters, riff's, sabbath, fuzz, slasher dave, horrific or anything like that, then this is definitely worth a download. Please check out their myspace and buy their albums and t-shirts. Awesome band, I'm on their dick hard as of late... but whatever. Hop upon your doom broom and ride away with this one folks! Supposedly they have another ep in works as well so stay tuned to their beastly brew of a myspace for more information on that release! I can't wait!
