Passion

Anaal Nathrakh are a Two-Man Black Metal/Grind outfit from the United Kingdom. I haven't really followed them since their "The Codex Necro" release (which was a stellar piece of blistering, grinding black metal). However, after listening to this I am again, hooked. "Passion" still brings the hatred found on "The Codex Necro" and adds newer elements of Progression. This album grabs you by the ears, headbutts you, and shoves two steak knives up your asshole and attempts to start a fire with them. Enjoy!

Gride return with a new album and this is the CD Version that also includes material from split releases with Lycanthrophy and Lahar that may be hard to find for people not from the Czech Republic. These guys always deliver and after seeing them at Maryland Death Fest a couple years ago, there's no reason to not love this band. 3 Is The Magic Number

As a result of being lazy, here's 3 albums from 3 different bands performing at this year's Maryland Death Fest. The Chasm, Eyehategod, and Gride. Let's make this fast... The Chasm are from Mexico City and play what I would call br00tal progressive death metal. Eyehategod are from New Orleans and play a heavy version of doom. Some might call it sludge, but the singer and band don't really care for that term and with a band named Eyehategod, you better just take their word for it. Gride are from the Czech Republic and play grind in the vein of blast beat absurdness... plus the Czech vocals add to the greatness. Also, no song titles on these records, you'll see them when you download them. I don't feel like doing all the weird symbols and apostrophes and shit for the Gride song titles. However, I do suggest you download all 3 albums and do your ears a favor. Enjoy!

Imagine a Spanish version of Cephalic Carnage (lucid interval and exploiting dysfunction era) with sludge and doom elements mixed in. Misery Index

Since the last post had two bands that played at last years Maryland Death Fest , I decided to continue in the same trend and post another. Misery Index play awesome death grind (use to anyways) and features ex-founding member's of Dying Fetus. This album is a collection of their earlier work (ep's, splits, demos, unreleased, and live material). It's 30 tracks, so it's definitely worth a download, plus it's from a time when they were actually good. Dying Fetus fans will eat this up, nom nom nom nom!
