Curlupanddie (not the salon)

Sadly disbanded in 2005, Curlupanddie were probably my favorite band ever. Anyways, it's brootal technical hardcore digital metal with vocals you can't understand and even more complicated lyrics that don't belong in such a vocal styling. The song titles are long and silly and I'm not typing them all. Fuck it, but do check out this solid record produced by none other than Kurt Ballou. Enjoy.

One of my favorite records of 2002. Kurt Ballou really knows how to make a record kick, too bad he can't do that for Converge's last few releases. However, instead of boring you... this sounds like if Curlupanddie made a rock and roll record. Simple, easy, awesome.
