Austrian Black Metal band, Dornenreich return with their 7th album, "Flammentriebe". Now playing more of a Progressive style of Black Metal with a dash of Atmospheric Rock thrown in to create an awesome listening experience. For fans of Nocte Obducta and Agrypnie will love this, of course any fan of Progressive Black Metal will enjoy. Plenty of instrumentation, plenty of acoustic guitar, keyboards and pure evil make this record stand out amongst its predecessors. Enjoy!

Fight Amp, once known as Fight Amputation are from New Jersey and play a mixture of Atmospheric Doom Sludge with Post-Hardcore elements. They're on Translation Lost Records and remind me an early Kylesa... if you're a fan of that type of music, then you'll love this band. They have done splits with Black Tusk and Kowloon Walled City. So enjoy their two full lengths!

Ghastly City Sleep

Ghastly City Sleep features members of Pageninetynine (pg. 99), Red Sparowes, Mannequin, and Crestfallen. They however, don't really play the type of music that those bands play. Actually Ghastly City Sleep plays an epic dream like atmospheric alt. rock. In a bit it reminds me of bands like Kent, Radiohead and Sigor Ros mixed together... some serious shoe-gaze action. Anyways, it's awesome in my opinion... definitely different than the usual postings here. Here's their self-titled debut on Robotic Empire as well as their new self-released album, "Moondrifts". The song, "Seven (33 leagues)" will make you cry. Enjoy!
