Winter was a Death/Doom band from NYC and are completely worshiped by some of your favorite Death/Doom bands (ie hooded menace). They only put out 1 full-length and 1 ep and have a demo floating around on obscurity somewhere. Nuclear Blast was nice enough to re-release their 1990 full-length debut, "Into Darkness" alongside their 1994 ep, "Eternal Frost". Enjoy these classic albums from this classic band... Ancient Torture

Coffins are from Japan and play a mixture of Doom and Death Metal. A real slow paced, chugging, fuzzed out take on Death Metal is something Coffins have really mastered over the years. Putting out over 10 different splits (wit bands like mala suerte, lobotomized, otesanek, cianide, anatomia, warhead, xxx maniak, the arm and sword of a bastard god, spun in darkness, and skullhog) has made obtaining some of their material quite hard for newcomers to the band. So faster than you could say "Purgatorial Madness", the band puts out a double disc collection of split releases, compilation and vinyl only tracks. Nearly two hours of evil Death Doom, enjoy!
