I came to find that this band is fucking awesome, especially if you like Oranssi Pazuzu, and Den Saakaldte. Bergraven is a one man project from Sweden and play as you might have guessed, Avant-Garde Experimental Black Metal. So expect the unexpected from this band. Black Sleep of Kali

Black Sleep of Kali hail from Denver, Colorado. They play Stoner Doom Sludge Metal in the vein of such acts like Torche, High On Fire, Baroness, and Mastodon. I know that every "heavy" band that comes out today gets those sort of comparisons. However, Black Sleep of Kali bring a breath of fresh air to the genre. "Our Slow Decay" brings the catchy style of Torche with the riffs of High On Fire. Some songs even remind me of the Foo Fighters on steroids (torche has received the same comparison, i know) That's probably the best way to describe it without getting too generic. Basically, if you like any of the bands mentioned above, you'll most likely enjoy this record. Also, if you're tired of this genre, this will be your one exception.
